The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 28 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a romantic surprise in store for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) an offer. Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will say goodbye to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will stroll into the ranch and he’ll tell his father he’s really looking forward to going to work. “I’ve got this, I promise.” Victor will say Victoria apprised him of something last night and it’s something Nick needs to know.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Matt Tells Victor And Nick He’s Grateful To Them
Then Matt will walk in the front door, followed by one of Victor’s henchmen. “What the hell are you doing here?” Nick will ask. Matt will say he has no idea, Victor brought him there. Nick will ask what he’s up to. “Nothing, I’m trying to leave,” he’ll reply.
Matt will add he’s taking a companion with him, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). Victor will smile. “She is a homicidal maniac,” Nick will say. But Matt will tell him he’ll contact the authorities once they’re far out of town. Or he’ll convince Patty to turn herself in.
So, Matt will pick up his bag to leave. “Not so fast son,” Victor will say. Nick will tell Matt he better not see his face again, or it’s going to end very badly for him. “Thank you both so much, I’m very grateful,” Matt will tell them. Then he’ll tell Nick that Phyllis could use his support and he does wish him well. And he’ll leave. But is it for real this time?
Meanwhile, Victoria will arrive at a bachelor apartment Kyle has rented. She’ll ask him what this is about. “I have to work,” she’ll add. “As tempting as it is.” But he’ll silence her with a kiss. They’ll sit down, sip on some champagne and orange juice and Kyle will suggest they play a game called have you ever.
“Every time you answer yes, a piece of clothing comes off.” Victoria will cancel all her morning meetings. As Kyle reads out the questions, they’ll begin removing their clothes. Inevitably, they’ll end up sleeping together. Afterwards, they’ll agree they need to keep the apartment secret and to shut out everyone else when they meet there.
Victoria will end up at the ranch and Victor will tell her he’s never seen her looking more radiant. “It’s true Vic,” Nick will add. “You’re practically glowing.” She’ll thank them and Victor will thank her for alerting them to Matt, who says he’s leaving town.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Just Wants A One And Done Deal
At the GCAC, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will run into Cane. He’ll say Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) was thrilled to get an invitation to the wedding. “I will do everything I can to make Sally happy,” Billy will reply. “But you know, with Jill in attendance, there isn’t a chance there won’t be a blowup at this wedding.”
Suddenly, Phyllis will blow in and ask what they’re talking about. She’ll tell Billy she must have lost his wedding invitation in the mail. But that’s okay, she’s working too hard on rebuilding Arabesque. She’ll attempt to offer Cane a job there. But when she sees his reaction she’ll tell him she was joking.
Cane will say he heard she recruited Matt and Phyllis will admit he’s gone. Billy will get a text from his fiancé and head out. Cane will ask Phyllis if something’s going on. “You’re very high strung, even for you.” Then she’ll say maybe she did want to make him a job offer.
Finally, Cane will remind her of the last time they teamed up and what a disaster it was. “My proposal is like a one and done deal,” Phyllis will tell him. “I would like to buy up all the properties that you purchased when you came back to Genoa City.” And Cane will realize she’s going to use Arabesque to go after all the companies in town.
